The purpose of this course is to provide staff with a clear understanding of the various cleaning products and tools used in guest-facing environments, along with the correct and safe ways to use, handle, and store them. This training aims to reduce the risk of misuse, improve cleaning efficiency, and support consistent presentation and hygiene standards. Emphasis is placed on reading product labels, understanding dilution requirements, and using each cleaner for its intended purpose — all while maintaining personal safety and care for the surrounding environment.

Usage Guidelines:
Understand the appropriate use for each product, including how much to use, where to apply it, how long it should stay on a surface, and which materials it should never be used on.
Chemical Safety:
Learn best practices for handling chemicals safely — such as wearing gloves, using eye protection when necessary, ensuring ventilation, and never mixing incompatible products.
Product Labelling:
Read and interpret product labels correctly to follow instructions, identify hazard symbols, and spot important warnings like “flammable,” “corrosive,” or “irritant.”
